The Foundation’s Italianate townhouse, at 8 East 69th Street, was constructed in 1893 from designs by Peabody & Stearns, one of the top architectural style firms of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  This Brooklyn townhouse is a stunning example of the brownstones that Bedford-Stuyvesant is identified for, and it also comes with a fascinating backstory: It was as soon as dwelling to Jackie Robinson, the legendary Brooklyn Dodgers player. Brooklyn’s finest townhouses at the moment on the market place have a lot of lovely amenities to be desired.
